Gold Stocks Rise With Precious Metal
Shares of gold miners soared Friday, after the price of the precious metal touched a new 25-year high. Several companies saw their shares establish fresh 52-week peaks for the second straight day, as the price of June gold rose $7.80 to $684.30 per ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
